Where
to go Walking…………
CEREDIGION
COAST PATH
The
path runs the whole length of the Ceredigion Coast
from near Borth in the north to Cardigan in the south,
where it links to the Pembrokeshire Coast path.
It
features spectacular cliff scenery and lovely secluded
sandy beaches, interspersed with several tiny villages
and fishing harbours. You will see many species of
wildlife and birds, while there is a good chance of
spotting dolphins at play or seals lazing on the beaches.
If you go down to a beach, beware that the tides may
cut you off from your exit route! Some sections of
path are very close to the cliff edge, so please take
care especially on windy days!
There
is good access to the path from all the main towns
and villages, such as Borth, Aberystwyth, Llanrhystud,
Llanon, Aberaeron, New Quay, Llangrannog, Aberporth
and Cardigan. There is also an excellent seasonal
bus service that stops at all the major access points
- great for anyone doing a “one way” walk!
